Cathrin Suites - Stavros (Crete)

A quiet and comfortable apartment, nothing to complain about!

Amicable staff, brand-new and large room, located close to a bus stop. Top and quiet location being close to the centre of Stavros. Easy drive from Souda airport, about 10 km. Met expectations, recommend...

We had an amazing stay at Cathrin Suites in Stavros! The hotel exceeded our expectations with its lovely pool and garden, clean and spacious rooms, and a small kitchen that was perfect for our vacation. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, and we enjoyed starting our mornings with a cup of coffee by the pool. The location of the hotel is ideal, with the beach, shops, bus station. Lady Vasso, the friendly host, treated us like friends and took great care of us. We will definitely be coming back to Cathrin Suites.

Located in easy reach of Stavros beach: you can walk there and is a great beach particularly for kids. The room-apartment has the basic facilities, but should work ok for most needs in a beach holiday (after all, who wants to stay at home there?). The owners are simply great in their hospitality. You will receive a bottle of local wine on arrival, and can't miss (actually, can hardly refuse) few glasses of raki gently offered by the owner every evening. The pool is small but can be quite enjoyable for children.

Toilets shall be improved, particularly in terms of plumbing....and the keys to lock the door, please. There is absolutely no bar options for breakfast, refreshment, etc....so organize yourself otherwise you can either starve or be thirsty to death with such weather. At least an automatic machine for drinks should be available. Can be very hard to find particularly at night, since there is absolutely no sign to reach it.

the place was spotless with family atmosphere right by chania and the sea. a shower, a hairdryer and bath sheets were available.

I had a great time during my stay at Cathrin Suites. The location was perfect for families and those seeking peace and quiet. The property was just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Stavros beach and had stunning views of the Stavros mountain. The rooms were clean, modern, and had reliable WiFi. The hotel had all the necessary facilities, including a lovely reception area, well-maintained garden, and a fantastic pool with sun loungers. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was recommended by many regular visitors. I would definitely come back again.

What did we like best about Cathrin Suites during our stay on Crete? What did we like best about staying at Cathrin Suites? Well, we could start with the wonderful setting, wonderful room, cool breezes on a warm day, plus the location is soothing and relaxing. Zorba's Beach is minutes away by foot. We have been traveling from Hawaii for 485 days throughout Europe primarily by car. Vasso, Petro and Irene are dedicate to providing the best accommodations possible. Cathrin Suites is a family run business and in our travels we have not come across more thoughtful or generous people. They will remain at the top of our fondest memories of Crete and in fact Greece as a whole. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here and savoring the best hosts you will find anywhere.

The apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Its central location close to markets was very enjoyable. We had a fine stay on holidays and received free ironing, which was a nice bonus. The staff was helpful and very nice to chat with.

Stavros is amazing! The hotel is near the beach and it is really beautiful! Everything has gone well. I recommend.

I absolutely loved the beautiful decoration of Cathrin Suites. The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with tastefully decorated rooms and a lovely garden filled with vibrant flowers. It was a delight to spend time in the hotel's general areas, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with easy navigation throughout the property and helpful staff who were always ready to assist.

I would have appreciated more activities or amenities specifically tailored for senior guests.

We had an amazing time at Cathrin Suites. The owner, Vasso, went above and beyond to help us with a problem we had with a local company. She made us feel right at home. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The beach was just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient. Thank you, Vasso, for everything!

Although the hotel was wonderful, there were a few minor inconveniences. The Wi-Fi signal in our ground floor room was weak, but it worked perfectly fine in the pool area.
